Bearings
« on: July 31, 2008, 10:48:55 »
(You know, those things that make an alarming grinding noise after all too short a time on the beach!)

I just thought I'd post to alert people that Mad Andy The Bearing King has been stopped from selling direct on the Flexi For Sale forum - presumably he's classed as a shop - and is now selling from http://www.akbearings.co.uk/ .  (I'll try to put that link on the Links section.)  He's been very efficient when I've bought from him in the past.  Last set I bought were stainless and have lasted nearly a year.

Previously I'd gone the "buy cheap & often" route with mild steel bearings from Wyko on Kingstown Ind Estate in Carlisle - a set of 6 cost 7-8.

Unless you're really desperate don't bother with next day delivery - I ordered mine Standard Post and they arrived today within 24 hours.
